STARLIGHT ACADEMY OF DANCE & PERFORMING ARTS - THAMES DITTON

Starlight offers a warm and friendly environment for pupils to learn a variety of professional, disciplined art forms. Pupils may wish to pursue a career in the performing arts or simply attend for enjoyment and fun.

Starlight is a Recognised School with the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre and has been awarded the Council’s certificate of good professional practice. Schools awarded CDMT’s Recognised School Award demonstrate to students, parents and guardians that they adhere to the standards demanded by the industry; standards designed to protect and safeguard young people whether dancing for leisure or with an eye to a career in the profession.

Our busy schedule of classes, held at St Nicholas Hall and Colets Health Club, Thames Ditton are open to Boys and Girls aged 18 months to Adult. Qualified dance teachers all of whom are DBS checked, chaperone licensed and first aid trained, deliver an exciting curriculum, which is both stimulating and challenging.

The Starlight team has both qualified and experienced teachers who deliver the most up to date classes in IDTA RAD ISTD ATOD LAMDA and Acrobatic Arts. We also have non - syllabus classes, so there is something for everyone! The Academy has an outstanding record across all graded examinations and a 100% pass rate.

Based in Thames Ditton, Surrey we have been established for over 18 years and have a reputation for excellence in all dance genres, drama, acro, singing, LAMDA and musical theatre.
